Was Thomas Edison a Failure?

Someone once asked him how he felt about failing 10,000 times. You see, while he was inventing the light bulb, he had tried 10,000 different elements before he discovered tungsten.

Thomas was bewildered with that person's perception. His reply was that he did not fail at all, he actually discovered 10,000 elements that wouldn't work.

Can you identify the difference between these two perceptions or mindset?
.
.
Which one do you identify with?

Think carefully before you answer, because it is the biggest single reason why people succeed or fail.

The can do, will do mindset is the most important aspect of success.

The good news is that you can change the way you think about things.

There were many influences in my life that molded my thinking. Most outside observers had the perception that I was successful. I owned several businesses, had many employees, and several wives.

The largest single influence in my life was Napoleon Hill. In his world famous book, "Think and Grow Rich" he ingrained into my brain a philosophy of success.

This single book is responsible for more success stories and millionaires then any other self-help or philosophy book. Success is not limited to monetary; in fact, success is whatever you determine it should be.
